When should I book My wedding Vendors?

People always ask me how early should I book my wedding vendors. The simple answer is, it is NEVER TO EARLY to book your wedding vendors! We have weddings that are booked almost 2 years in advance. This is becoming more common lately. Couples seem to be planning weddings for 18-24 months rather than 6-12. Even if you don't realize it, everyone is competing to get their number one choice of vendors and many of those are also your first choice. We always hear stories of how a couple wanted a certain venue or caterer and unfortunately waited to long to book them. They then had to settle for a 2nd or 3rd choice. Sure you can always find a good second option but this is your wedding and you deserve to be happy.  Now don't let this discourage you! Just be aggressive in your vendor search and when you find a company that you want....Book them!

Engagement Photography in Downtown Frederick, MD

We weren't sure what the weather was going to be and we had already rescheduled once due to wind and rain! Thankfully these two had no problem walking the cold autumn streets of Frederick, MD for their engagement session. The weather held for us and we had a great time! They were willing and comfortable with doing whatever we asked. It is always great for not only us but for the photos when the couple is comfortable and open to ideas. What I love about engagement session is it allows us to get to know each other. I always feel as if We have gained new friends when the session is complete! Thank you Mike and Shannon for being so great!

Engagement session Brian & Michele

What an amazing day for an engagement session! Brian and Michele didn't have specific locations in mind for where they would like their session to take place. We asked a few questions to get a good feel and understanding of what they would like. They gave us complete freedom to choose the right place for them. We then we set out looking for the perfect location. After about a week of looking we decided that Linganore Winery/Vineyard was a perfect fit. From the beautiful hills and vineyard itself to the amazing barns and pond, Linganore offered the perfect setting! Many thanks to the staff for allowing us to come in before hours and have open access to the grounds.

The morning was beautiful, The sky had just the right amount of clouds, the light was right and Michele and Brian looked perfect! You could immediately tell how happy these two are together. They were relaxed and open to ideas! We had such a great time with them and can't wait to be a part of the wedding day!
